Lake Tahoe weekend 1, 2, 3 JUMP!

This past weekend I was in So. Lake Tahoe.  I bought my new camera and lens to test them out.  While Crystal and I were at the beach, a group of nice people asked me to take some photos with their smart phone.  They saw me with the dslr, so they offer me to take pictures of them! What a great opportunity!!
First started out with a normal group shot:

Then I asked the group to do some jumping at the beach since it was sunset and getting chilly.

First attempted at jumping wasn't enough air for me...Come'on let's see some energy here!!!
Let's see the second attempted at jumping:

WONDERFUL!  All in the air, full of energy!
What else can you do at a beach!? How about some running?

Thanks Geno, Shandell and everyone(sorry I didn't get all of your names) for giving me this opportunity.  I had a lot of fun, hope all of you did too!
This experience made my desire to be better at photography even stronger.  I was reminded a month ago I prayed to do better at what I love, and it seems like God is answering my prayer by giving me opportunities.

Mark 11:24--
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Photography workshop by Christine Chang's Photography

I've been following Christine's work for less than a year and have already fallen in love with her style.  So when she announced on her facebook that she will be holding a workshop in the bay area, I knew I had to go!

Christine's photography workshop started with an hour lecture which was so inspiring and totally got me motivated to do what I always wanted to do: photography!  Not just any photography but the type of photography that tells a story, that puts the "soul" into a portrait.

Pets at the shooting scene can help loosen up the mood.

Christine was Avril's photographer for her wedding, and she is due soon! How exciting to see your clients step into different phases in life!
